Encontros ocorreram com investidores de todo o país nesta semana

On July 1st, 2nd and 3rd, the state government held the roadshow of the public-private partnership (PPP) for the airports of Lauro Kortz, in Passo Fundo, and Sepé Tiaraju, in Santo Ângelo, at the Invest RS office in São Paulo. The event, led by the Secretariat for the Reconstruction of Rio Grande do Sul (Serg), was held to present the project to investors from all over the country.

The future PPP, in the form of a sponsored concession, will be for the operation, maintenance and expansion of the terminals for a period of 30 years. The expected investment will be R$ 102.2 million, of which R$ 66.24 million will be in Santo Ângelo and R$ 35.99 million will be in Passo Fundo. The notice was published on June 24th.

“Our government is always willing to seek partnerships with the private sector. The Invest RS office in São Paulo is an environment to enhance these actions, which aim to improve public services for the people,” said Pedro Capeluppi, head of Serg.

Inaugurated at the end of June this year, the new Invest RS space in the capital of São Paulo functions as a connection hub to increase the state’s competitiveness in the competition for investments on the national and international scene. The location can be used for meetings by departments, partners and companies that are interested in actions associated with the agency’s purpose, in commercial promotion or in attracting investments.

“The fact that Invest RS actively participates in these PPP discussions, led by the Secretariat for the Reconstruction of Rio Grande do Sul, proves that we are right to be physically present in the country’s main economic and financial center. We will continue to support Rio Grande do Sul to attract new investments and generate positive impacts, including for our infrastructure,” said president Rafael Prikladnicki.

The vice president of Invest RS, Eduardo Lorea, and the business manager Lucila Pellegrini attended the events.
